1. Overview
GYNStat is a clinical decision-support app for healthcare professionals. We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your patients.
2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
All patient records, clinical calculation results, doctor profile information, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device. This data is never transmitted to Pleyra's servers. It includes: patient demographics, medical history, lab values, vital signs, clinical notes, and scoring results. You may delete this data at any time via Settings > Privacy > Clear Clinical Data.
3. Account Information (Optional)
You may optionally sign in using Apple or Google. If you do, we receive your name, email address, and a unique user ID from Apple or Google. This is used solely to identify your account. We do not share this data with third parties beyond what is necessary for authentication.
4. Crash Reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)
We use Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to detect app crashes. Crashlytics collects device model, iOS version, app version, error logs, and a pseudonymous user ID. It does not collect patient names, health data, or clinical values. Crash data collection is disabled in development builds.
5. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple's App Store. Pleyra does not store or process your payment information. Subscription status (active/inactive, expiry date) is stored locally on your device.
6. Trial Fingerprint (iOS Keychain)
To prevent free trial abuse, we store an anonymous install identifier and trial timestamps in the iOS Keychain. This contains no health data or personal information.
7. AI Sharing (Optional, User-Initiated)
You may optionally share a patient's clinical summary to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Grok. This is entirely opt-in. The summary is copied to your clipboard and opened in the selected AI app. The clipboard is automatically cleared after 30 seconds. You are responsible for ensuring this complies with applicable privacy laws (HIPAA, GDPR, KVKK).
8. PDF Reports (Optional, User-Initiated)
PDF reports are generated locally on your device. Pleyra does not receive a copy. You control where the PDF is shared via the iOS Share Sheet.
9. Push Notifications
If enabled, GYNStat sends weekly subscription reminders and optional feature tips. Notifications are scheduled locally and contain no patient data. You can disable them at any time in Settings or iOS Settings > GYNStat.
10. Device Permissions
Camera and Photo Library: Used only for your doctor profile photo. No images are uploaded to any server.
Notifications: Optional. Used for reminders and tips only.
11. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect location data, contacts, behavioral analytics, advertising identifiers, or any data from third-party ad networks. GYNStat contains no ads.
12. Your Rights
You may export all your data (Settings > Privacy > Export My Data), delete clinical data, or delete your account entirely (Settings > Account > Delete Account). EU/EEA users have GDPR rights; Turkish users have KVKK rights. Contact us at hello@pleyra.com to exercise these rights.
13. Children's Privacy
GYNStat is intended for adult healthcare professionals only. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18.
14. Medical Disclaimer
GYNStat is a decision-support tool only. It is not a certified medical device and does not replace professional clinical judgment. All clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the clinician.
15. Changes
We may update this policy periodically. The effective date will be updated accordingly. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
